As I’m currently a student, I love a bargain. I mean who doesn’t? You don’t have to break the bank for some really good quality products, including for your makeup. Even though I do like treating myself to the occasional high-end beauty product, I like to find high quality products for low prices. Here are a list of budget beauty items I’m repurchasing at the moment:
The Foundation – Rimmel Match Perfection (£7.99)
This foundation is amazing quality for the price. It gives full coverage without feeling heavy on your face. It leave a lovely mix between a dewy and matte finish has a nice natural satin look. It lasts all day and is definitely buildable.
The Concealer – Collection Lasting Perfection (£4.19)
I am obsessed with Collection as a makeup brand because they have amazing products for great prices. This concealer is my absolute favourite and I haven’t looked back since buying it. It is true to its name and long lasting, gives full coverage of any uneven skin tone and is so easy to apply.
The Contour Palette – Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour Palette (£8)
I absolutely love Makeup Revolution for their amazing quality for such great prices. I really like this palette because there are so many different tones of bronzer and highlighter to choose from in just one palette! There are a few matte colours and couple of shimmery tones. The colours are very pigmented so I do not need to layer it up too much and they are easy to dust over your skin. The highlighters catch the light really well and are quite subtle on my face. The bronzers are also not too harsh on my face. It is also a great alternative to the more pricey Beverley Hills Anastasia palette.
The Eyeshadow Palette – I Heart Makeup Chocolate Palette (£7.99)
This has become my go-to eyeshadow palette and I absolutely love it! I was told that this is a great alternative to the more pricey Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette and thought I’d check it out. I haven’t gone back since! I have the Naked Chocolate palette. There are other colour variations but this is my personal favourite because of the collection of neutral tones. The colours are so easy to blend together and look stunning for ages! I highly recommend this as a less expensive alternative to pricey brand!
The Eyeliner – Collection 24 Hours Felt Tip Liner in Extreme Black (£2.99)
I was recommended this as I have never been great at applying eyeliner myself. I have tried gel liners, eyeliner pencils and pens and have never sussed it. That was until I tried this felt tip liner. It is SO easy to apply because it’s stable- it just glides effortlessly over the eyelid. It also lasts for absolutely ages – I sometimes leave my eyeliner on over night and by the morning it’s still there! It doesn’t smudge or run easily. I definitely recommend this, especially for those of you who get easily frustrated with applying eyeliner. For that price, you can’t go wrong!
The Mascara – Rimmel Scandaleyes Reloaded (£6.99)
I am a big fan of Rimmel Scandaleyes and this is my new personal favourite. It gives my lashes really good volume and it is build able without being too clumpy. It doesn’t smudge easily and really makes my eyes stand out. This is my go-to mascara under £10!
The Lipstick – NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick (£6.50)
I am obsessed with this liquid lipstick! It glides on effortlessly and stays put for ages! Many different lip creams and lipsticks I have had previously begin to disappear quite quickly. I tried removing it with makeup wipes after applying it and it didn’t budge! I have the colour Corset which is a matte purple/nude tone. This is great for a beautiful winter lip and a great price for a quality brand!
I will honestly keep going back to these makeup products every time. Even if you are not on a budget as such, these are some great staples for your makeup bag!
Let me know your thoughts on these and if you have any other great makeup buys under £10!
Lots of love,
